• Judith Loughlin, Ph.D. (Supervisory Consultant)Judy is a school psychologist and educational consultant for IDEAL Consulting Services, Inc. and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She provides support to school districts throughout New England implementing the Schoolwide Reading Improvement Model, a three tier model of instructional change developed by researchers at the University of Oregon. She provides training to schools in the use of DIBELS and Curriculum-Based Measurement within a data-based decision-making model. Judy has participated in the implementation of the Massachusetts Reading First Initiative providing training through Massachusetts DOE. Other areas of interest – Three Tier Model of Reading, differentiating instruction, reading interventions, intensifying instruction, positive behavior support for increasing academic success, and increasing the effectiveness of pre-referral procedures through the use of Instructional Support Teams.
